Say it loud and proud.
As we near the end of Pride Month this colourful flag ensemble at one of London’s most famous shopping attractions, Leadenhall Market, has to be applauded.
To think that in 1966 it was still illegal to be gay in the UK is shocking.
Still to this day, the utterly amazing film ‘Enigma Code’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch as British coder Alan Turin who cracked the German’s Enigma Code, won us the Second World War – yet died in shame due to the illegality of his his homosexual nature is abhorrent.
Go gay pride month, long may you reign.
