Former page 3 girl, Melinda Messenger, has ditched her trademark blonde hair in favour of a natural grey look, while asking her fans on social media for tips on going au natural.
Messenger, 51, captioned the post to her 63.1K fans last week saying, “Well like the trees leaves change colour through the seasons so do we. Do I blend out the blonde or grow it out slowly?”
She continued, “Any advice from my hairdresser friends and #silversisters welcome.”
Followers were quick to praise the model saying, “You look beautiful,” and helpful tips including, “I had two lots of blond highlights to transition to grey. You will rock the silver!”
Melinda is not alone in her pursuit of the natural look with celebrities including ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ actress Andie MacDowell going full on grey for her recent Vogue and Grazia front covers. ‘Frida’ actress Salma Hayek has also recently embraced her grey locks while 85-year-old ‘Grace and Frankie’ star Jane Fonda has gone back to her natural shade of grey – swearing never to hit the bottle again!
