Top-end electronics manufacturer Bang & Olufsen has launched a 55 inch, super high definition TV that follows its owner around the house.
The £5995 BeoVision Avant, named in homage to the first TV set the manufacturer developed, rotates, slides and moves closer to the viewer. We aren’t sure if it will fit through the bathroom door to come with you to the toilet though.
Along with a sleek design the Avant features a drop down soundbar housing a handful of the eight in-built speakers.
Bang & Olufsen boss Tue Mantoni said the BeoVision Avant was created to provide discerning homeowners the ultimate in authentic performance, intuitive simplicity and convenience.
“Our research shows that consumers want more and more from their televisions,” he explains.
“People are pressed for time, and they want entertainment that just works so they can focus on it – and each other – rather than the technology itself.”
