Now in its 7th year, ShyneFest has established itself as an integral part of the Surrey music scene and is nominated in the ‘Best Family Fun’ category at this year’s Surrey Awards. There’s plenty on site to keep the family occupied this Summer; whether it be camping, glamping, silent disco or face-painting, taking a poke around the art and craft stalls, or just having a good old kickabout, there’s something for everyone. At the heart of it all, of course, is the music. This year’s line-up includes Faux Fighters, The Marley Experience, Pixie McCann, The Diva’s, Doubting Thomas and Mother Vulture.

Billed as ‘the most rambunctious garden fête!’ The Great Estate Festival is set within the mystical grounds of the Scorrier Estate in Cornwall. Now in its 7th year, the magic just keeps growing and in 2024 it’s destined to be fully loaded with their epic headline announcements of The Darkness, The Stranglers, Soul II Soul alongside smaller but equally powerful performances from Bez’s Acid House, Imperial Leisure and The Beatles Dub Club among 30 others.
HAMPTON COURT PALACE FESTIVAL

Hampton Court Festival has revealed its impressive line-up of 2024 acts so far kicking off with the legendary Tom Jones on June 11th, Nile Rodgers & Chic on June 12th, Jack Savoretti on June 13th, Sam Ryder on June 14th, Shery Crow on June 18th, Deacon Blue on June 19th, Paloma Faith on June 20th and Jessie J on June 21st. The festival, sponsored by Hey Car, is set in the stunning and majestic grounds of the Hampton Court Palace. There is only a 3000 capacity for this festival so be sure to get those tickets in early for the one-off headliners on those days.
GLASTONBURY 2024

Billed as the world’s biggest music festival, more than 80 acts including Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, Shania Twain, Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Little Simz, Faithless, Keane, Avril Lavigne, Paloma Faith and Burna Boy will be set to take to the stage for the big 5-day event in June and more will be announced over the coming months. This year’s festival is supporting “People Affected by Conflict” with charities including British Red Cross, Oxfam and War Child as beneficiaries.

Surrey’s most famous festival, Guilfest, is back after a 10 year break this Summer. You can catch top bill artists including Sam Ryder, The Stranglers, Black Grape, Boyzlife and The Blockheads on Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th at Stoke Park in Guildford. There will 5 stages of musical mayhem with over 30 acts as well as a Comedy Tent, Tropical Disco, Arts & Crafts Village, Healing Field and Wellness Area, Games Tent, Kids Area and the best international food and drink stalls. In its heyday, Guilfest was awarded the Best Family Festival in the UK.
LOVE SUPREME JAZZ FESTIVAL

Love Supreme includes a spectrum of musical styles including jazz, funk, soul, blues and hip-hop and comprises five stages: The Main Stage, which focuses on broader styles of R&B, Funk, Soul and Blues; The Big Top, which plays host to the biggest names in Jazz; The Arena, which hosts contemporary and progressive acts in the jazz sphere and The Bandstand, which hosts up and coming acts. Celebrating the Great British Pub, Pub in the Park was founded by celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. A festival celebrating the world’s greatest pop and rock acts is steaming into Reading, Berkshire this August bank holiday weekend. With an incredible line-up of acts including Lana Del Rey, Blink-182, Liam Gallagher, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Gerry Cinnamon, Raye, Skrillex, Spiritbox, Digga D and Fred Again…only the greatest acts are selected to make the cut.
