Shynefest has established itself as an integral part of the Surrey music scene.

Wychwood is the festival the Daily Mirror are calling “the perfect family festival” and the Metro added “Wychwood has something for everyone” in their coverage this year. 2024 headliners are Texas, Ocean Colour Scene, The Lightning Seeds, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, The Stereo Mc’s, The Futureheads, Big Country and The Bootleg Beatles. Wychwood have also revealed their comedy line-up with Jason Neale, Mark Cram, Ester Manito, Andrew White on Friday. To celebrate World Gin Day Silent Pool Distillers are hosting a not-to-be-missed party at their Albury distillery and launching their brand new gin, the limited-edition Silent Pool English Garden Expression Gin. The distillery will also be hosting cocktail masterclasses and distillery tours throughout the day (11am – 5pm) and you can sample all their famous gins including the new English Garden Expression. Sergio from Bee Friends will be selling his local honey and Kingfisher Flower Shop is running an English garden flower stall. Relax in the Silent Pool Gin Cocktail Bar, and enjoy fresh pasta by Pastanni, homemade cupcakes flavoured with gin, local ice cream or a BBQ at neighbouring Mandira’s Kitchen. There will 5 stages of musical mayhem with over 30 acts as well as a Comedy Tent, Tropical Disco, Arts & Crafts Village, Healing Field and Wellness Area, Games Tent, Kids Area and the best international food and drink stalls. In its heyday, Guilfest was awarded the Best Family Festival in the UK.

Alfold Rock & Blues Festival, established 3 years ago, has already been shortlisted for the ‘Best UK Blues Festival’ twice; a remarkable feat in such a short time. Launched in 2021, Alfold Rock & Blues is aimed at the more mature audience, focusing on bands from the 60’s onwards, with the emphasis – as the name suggests – on the rock and blues genres. This years eclectic line-up from 5th to 7th July includes multi award-winning bands like King King, Dom Martin, Zac Schulze and Brave Rival feature alongside Doctor Feelgood, Stray and former Stranglers frontman Hugh Cornwell and local hero Jackie Lynton and rock’s wackiest duo, John Otway and Wild Willy Barrett.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell are heading to Crawley for a special, open-air performance this Summer.
