Surrey photographer Emma Dunham has been shortlisted for a prestigious Pink Lady Award for her innovative CLOVID picture.

The Ashtead based photographer fought off stiff competition from 800 applicants to make the shortlist for the FujiFilm Award for Innovation.

The Pink Lady Awards have been running for 10 years and this year they had over 10,000 entries from over 70 countries.

Talking about her CLOVID picture Emma said: “I think with all the Covid talk, I wanted to try something relating to this year with food. I tried to mimic the Covid strain with an orange and cloves. Then I added a purple filter and got the results I required.”

The Awards are due to be held later this month with the overall winner receiving £5000 and the winner of each category getting £1000. Good luck Emma!
