NOUGHTY 90’S FESTIVAL
Noughty 90’s Festival Brighton takes you back to the “good old days” with the ultimate throwback, featuring four stages of music hosted by 00’s & 90’s bands, artists and DJs from around the world, as well as funfair rides, a 90’s arcade, retro bars, a D&B roller disco, street food and much more. Bands lined up for this year include S Club, Boyzlife, East 17, N Trance and Garage City. Expect there to be a lot of bright colours and noughties themed fancy dress.

PUB IN THE PARK
Celebrating the Great British pub, Pub in the Park was founded by celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. Each festival (there are 9 in total now) celebrates everything there is to love about the glorious British pub; delicious food, award-winning chefs, chart-topping music, great drinks – but all in an outdoor festival environment. SHYNEFEST 2022
ShyneFest has already established itself as a special part of the Surrey music scene. The 2022 festival is going to be bigger and better than ever before. There’s plenty on site to keep every member of the family occupied, whether it’s a silent disco or face painting, taking a poke around the art and craft stalls, or just having a good old kickabout, there’s something for everyone. At the heart of it all of course is the music. Merrist Wood College will play host to a tremendous line-up on June 3rd bank holiday weekend where you can see The Lightning Seeds and 16 other great bands including Corduroy, Jesus Jones and leading tribute acts like Guns 2 Roses and Zinc Floyd.

HAMPTON COURT PALACE FESTIVAL
Starting on June 10th with Elbow for a 2-night spin, before 90’s boy band McFly have a one-off date on June 15th. Next up sees 70’s soul legend George Benson on June 16th followed by Jack Savoretti on June 17th, Kacey Musgraves on June 22nd and Eighties band The Human League on June 23rd. The festival culminates with Crowded House on June 25th. There is only a 3000 capacity for this festival so be sure to get those tickets in early.

GLASTONBURY 2022
Billie Eilish, Sir Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, Sam Fender, Olivia Rodrigo, Wolf Alice and Foals are lined up to play Glastonbury Festival this June. More than 80 acts are set to take to the stage for the big 5-day event, which has been cancelled two years in a row due to Covid. Beatles frontman Sir Paul tops the bill on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday 25th June, exactly one week after he turns 80. Diana Ross is taking on the Legends Stage, while other acts including Pet Shop Boys, Noel Gallagher’s Flying Birds, Robert Plant, TLC and Primal Scream are on the bill. This year’s event supports Oxfam, WaterAid and Greenpeace.

LOVE SUPREME 2022
The Love Supreme Jazz Festival is a three-day music festival held on the first weekend of July in the South Downs of East Sussex. It includes a spectrum of musical styles including jazz, funk, soul, blues and hip-hop. Love Supreme comprises five stages: The Main Stage, which focuses on broader styles of R&B, Funk, Soul and Blues; The Big Top, which plays host to the biggest names in Jazz and its neighbouring styles; The Arena, which hosts contemporary and progressive acts in the jazz sphere and The Bandstand, which hosts up and coming acts as well as local performers. The latest addition is Bands & Voices, which showcases a range of spoken word, dance and cabaret. Headlining this year’s festival is Erykah Badu, Gregory Porter, TLC and Sister Sledge.

CORNBURY FESTIVAL 2022
Established back in 2004, sadly this year will be the last of the Cornbury Festivals. Promoter Hugh Phillimore said he had originally planned to stop the festival in 2017 but “our vanity got the better of us when our supporters badgered us to continue. It really is time to move on now though,” he said. Join them for ‘one last hurrah’ where headline acts include Bryan Adams, James Blunt, Ronan Keating, Mica Paris, The Darkness and Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

LOVEBOX
Lovebox is a one-day UK music festival which takes place in London’s Finsbury Park on 16th July 2022. The newly-expanded festival features some of the top pop, hip-hop, RnB, grime and rap musicians along with incredible house and dance music acts and DJs across the weekend. Now a key highlight of the London festival calendar, get ready for spectacular scenes of music madness. CARFEST SOUTH
