Lana Del Ray´s third studio album returns to the similar sexy, noirish feel of her debut album Born to Die and follow up EP Paradise. Praise the Lord, as this is exactly what fans have been crying out for!
To show exactly what she meant, Lana revealed the title tracks lyrics (“There are violets in your eyes, there are guns that blaze around you, there are roses in between my thighs and a fire that surrounds you”) in booklets for sale at her Endless Summer tour.
Del Rey’s Ultraviolence became her first No. 1 Album upon its June 2014 release and this latest album is tipped for bigger things according to music industry insiders.
Ultraviolence sold 182,000 copies during its first week, making for the largest debut sales week for a female artist since Beyonce’s 2013 self-titled album. Honeymoon has some very big shoes to fill but pundits are expecting Lana´s new romantic ´noir´ themed album to do just that.
