Pop Star Britney Spears has married her long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari in an intimate ceremony with just 60 friends and relatives at their Californian home.
“We really wanted to make this a small and beautiful moment with family and friends,” Britney said. Among the guests at the June 9th wedding were Donatella Versace, Madonna, Drew Barrymore and Will.i.am.
The couple, who have been dating for 5 years since meeting on the set of Britney’s ‘Slumber Party’ music video in 2016, got engaged in September 2021.
“I can’t f**king believe it,” Britney captioned at the time – showing off her round-cut, four-carat diamond ring.
The news comes a few weeks after the ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ singer sparked concern from fans after posting naked photographs of herself on Instagram following her 40th birthday celebrations. And it was only last year the 13-year conservatorship that had been hanging over Britney was finally lifted by the LA Courts giving her new-found freedom. Naked pics and a third wedding, implies she definitely has! Apparently new music is on the horizon soon so watch this space.
