This has not been the best week for former ‘One Direction’ star Zayn Malik as his relationship with Gigi Hadid hangs on by a thread, following reports that he ‘struck’ Gigi’s mother Yolanda during an altercation.

The argument was said to have blown up last month at the Pennsylvania home Gigi and Zayn share. Yolanda, Gigi’s mother, was said to have been pushed into a dresser by Zayn and called a “Dutch s**t.”

Initially Zayn denied reports but leaked court files revealed that he has pleaded no contest to four counts of harassment. He now has to complete 360 days of probation and an anger management course. The singer must also have no contact with Yolanda, 54.

Zayn and Gigi, who have 13-month-old daughter Khai together are said to be on the verge of splitting up. Talk of “co-parenting” their daughter has already been discussed by the pair – although no official separation statement has been announced – yet.

The week that has gone from bad to worse for Zayn, has also seen him reportedly dropped by his record label, RCA, following claims that he has been smoking cannabis and has become “impossible” to deal with.

What is clear is that it will take a lot for this boyband member to come back and win over his fans and long-term girlfriend and Victoria’s Secret model, Gigi (pictured).
