Lady Gaga’s two beloved French bulldogs were dropped off “safe and unharmed” at a West Hollywood police station last night following their theft on Wednesday.
The dogs, Koji and Gustav, were originally stolen from Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, who was shot trying to fend off the robbers. He remains in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
LAPD have now confirmed the safe return of the two dogs saying an “unnamed woman” dropped them back on Friday evening. After the incident Gaga issued a $500K reward for the safe return of the dogs saying: “no questions will be asked.”
The LAPD have said no arrests have been made and did not comment whether they would be taking the investigations further.
Gaga is currently in Rome filming an upcoming Ridley Scott movie about the Gucci fashion dynasty so has been unable to return to LA.
Miss Asia, Lady Gaga’s third bulldog, escaped the dognapping and was reunited with her representatives immediately following the attack.
It has been estimated there is a 250% increase on dognapping cases since the pandemic started with a black market trade of stolen pets making some expensive breeds worth more than $5000.
