She was hailed as \u201cone of the defining pop voices\u201d for a generation of Disney-era fans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, her sound has evolved from\u00a0those cutesy, teen pop\u00a0ballads in her early years to more\u00a0mature electronic dance music influences starting from 2015\u2019s \u2018Breathe In\u2026 Breathe Out\u2019 success.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her brand-new sixth studio album called \u2018Luck\u2026 Or Something\u2019 &#8211; released by Atlantic Records &#8211; coming out on February 20<sup>th<\/sup> has been praised by music pundits and shows the more mature sound has carved out for herself today.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">EARLY YEARS<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Born in Houston, Texas, Duff, now aged 39, first rose to fame playing Lizzie McGuire in the Disney Channel comedy TV Series and subsequent \u2018Lizzie McGuire\u2019 movies aged only 14.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">She also famously went on to star in blockbuster Hollywood movies \u2018Cheaper By The Dozen\u2019 and \u2018Cheaper By The Dozen 2\u2019 alongside comedian Steve Martin and taking the lead role in the hit Disney movie, \u2018A Cinderella Story\u2019 before breaking into the music industry in 2002.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fast forward 24 years, 5 hit albums and over 10 million album sales to date &#8211; it\u2019s been a long time since Duff was in the limelight having taken time off to get married and start a family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">FAMILY LIFE<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hilary Duff is married to acclaimed music producer Michael Koma and has 4 children.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her first son Luca (aged 14) is from her first marriage to NHL star Mike Comrie whom she divorced in 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">She also has three daughters with her current husband, Michael Koma. The eldest is Banks Violet (aged 8), Mae James (aged 4) and Townes Meadow (18 months old).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Duff has been candid about the challenges and rewards of motherhood, describing it as &#8220;the best messiest thing ever!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">She often speaks about letting go of perfection, managing guilt and the intense, rewarding nature of raising children, calling it &#8220;by far the greatest blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">She has not indicated whether she is planning on expanding her brood further although was quoted as saying that her family \u201cfelt complete\u201d with the arrival of her fourth child in 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">NEW MUSIC<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Duff admits she was nervous releasing new music since her last album \u2018Breathe In Breathe Out\u2019 debuted in 2015, but felt it was time to share her story and life experiences through her music.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Duff wrote on her Instagram: \u201cMy new album \u2018Luck &#8230; Or something\u2019 is out on February 20<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; so much love, late night anxiety and a little chaos went into making this album &#8211; hoping you see yourself in here the way I have &#8211; I love you and excited is the largest understatement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This new album is being hailed as one of her best to date and is available in 3 editions and has been produced by her husband, Matthew Koma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hilary Duff is back after a 10-year musical hiatus!
