Leatherhead is getting closer to its much publicised \u00a31.5m facelift in 2026!<\/p>\n
The plans for \u2018Transform Leatherhead\u2019 following their February meeting include hundreds of new homes, including affordable apartments and townhouses, a Transport Hub with parking facilities, EV charging points and an electric car club. It will also include sustainable, office spaces to support local employment, as well as retail and leisure facilities, enhanced public spaces for people and wildlife, and a dedicated area for community use.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the plans for the Swan Shopping Centre are to create a vibrant leisure hub with restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema. It will also retain and improve existing retail units while enhancing the public realm with upgraded shop fronts, seating, lighting, planting and external surfacing.
