Our Brit cover star Suki Waterhouse has had an amazing journey so far \u2013 having shot to fame as a model in her teens, then turning her hand to acting in a plethora of hit films and as one of the leads in Netflix Emmy-nominated \u2018Daisy Jones & The Six\u2019 before becoming a successful pop star in her own right.<\/p>\n
With all three major sought after job roles covered in her twenties, 2024 has seen Suki become a mum with her gorgeous fianc\u00e9 and fellow Brit actor Robert Pattison from \u2018Twilight\u2019 fame. All this while headlining Coachella 2024 and soon-to-be-releasing her much anticipated second album \u2018Memoir Of A Sparkle Muffin\u2019 all within the space of a few months aged only 32.<\/p>\n
How does she do it? Well according to best gal pal, model Cara Delevingne, Suki is \u201cwillful and wild\u201d and always has been \u201can extremely hard worker and creative at heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

MODELLING ROOTS<\/p>\n
Having grown up in Chiswick, West London, with childhood friends including the aforementioned Cara and rock & roll royalty Georgia May Jagger (daughter of Mick Jagger & Jerry Hall) it was no surprise that the beautiful Suki would get signed and follow in her model pals footsteps – seeing as though she was already front row at fashion weeks.<\/p>\n
So at the age of 16 she was signed to Next Management and fronted an H&M campaign which catapulted her into the big time.<\/p>\n
She swapped her front row seat for fronting designer brand campaigns and walking for the likes of Burberry, Hugo Boss and Laura Mercier in New York, London, Paris and Milan.<\/p>\n
It was at this time in 2013 that she caught the eye of Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, rising star of \u2018The Hangover\u2019 and the (ridiculously pleasing to the eye!) couple dated for two years until 2015.<\/p>\n
Suki was also picked up and paid mega bucks by high street favourites including New Look and hair giant Redken, further fuelling her fire as one of the most sought-after models on the circuit.<\/p>\n

ACTING PROWESS<\/p>\n
Following her winning modelling streak, Suki was first cast in Brit flick \u2018Love Rosie\u2019 alongside \u2018Emily in Paris\u2019 star Lily Collins and followed this swiftly with the hit remake of \u2018Pride & Prejudice\u2019 both in 2014. Showing she could cut it as an actress in all genres \u2018Zombieland\u2019 in 2016 was her next big grossing film.<\/p>\n
One of the biggest budget Netflix series \u2018Daisy Jones & The Six\u2019 also co-starring Elvis Presley\u2019s granddaughter Riley Keogh saw the talented Brit actress and model propelled to the big time in 2023 playing the part of singer Karen Sirko. The fictional miniseries followed a band trying to make it into the mainstream in the 1970\u2019s drew critical acclaim from critics and fans alike.<\/p>\n
Having felt she had achieved the pinnacle of her acting career following the notoriety of \u2018Daisy Jones & The Six\u2019 and previous films, high achiever Suki, who has always had an impressive set of lungs on her \u2013 decided to make her major move onto the music scene.<\/p>\n

MUSICAL MAESTRO<\/p>\n
So life imitated art and in 2022, when Suki released her first album \u2018I Can\u2019t Let Go\u2019 with label Sub Pop – produced just a few months after she finished filming \u2018Daisy & The Six\u2019 on Netflix. She had previously released a single called \u2018Brutally\u2019 in 2016 and lead single from \u2018I Can\u2019t Let Go\u2019 called \u2018Good Looking\u2019 quietly to little fanfare in 2017. However, following the album\u2019s official worldwide release in 2022, the single \u2018Good Looking\u2019 went Platinum and BPI Silver proving her worth in the music industry \u2013 it\u2019s a cool, eclectic mix of pop beats and brilliant, melodic lyrics by Suki.<\/p>\n
After a year hiatus to have a baby with the gorgeous Robert Pattison (whom she has dated since 2018) in March of this year, Suki was back performing at Coachella Festival 2024 in May, a mere 6 weeks after having her daughter. Wow. And she is back with her new album \u2018Memoir Of A Sparklemuffin\u2019 coming out this September.<\/p>\n
Suki said of her latest album on social media,\u201d\u2018Memoir Of A Sparklemuffin\u2019, my second album, out 13th Sept, feels surreal to finally be able to bring this world to you that I\u2019ve been living in for the past year & even more insane to be touring these songs I love so much in the fall.\u201d<\/p>\n
