Most people are spending a lot more time outside the house socially, enjoying the longer lighter evenings and the joy that a lovely summer brings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">As July was a washout I\u2019m told by my weather forecaster friends that August is going to bring the sun and with the sun comes the single people. Now is a great time to ask your friends to set you up on a blind date. I recommend doing this at least once every 3 months. Your friends are a free, untapped source of dating networks and it\u2019s highly likely that someone will know someone who is perfect for you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I\u2019m not a big believer in a coffee as a form of a date but I do believe in a coffee \u2018meet\u2019 before an official date to see if there is chemistry (especially if you have met online).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I realise coffee meets are tempting but if both of you only have a quick 30 minute allocated spot it\u2019s a lot of pressure and can lead to the jitters from all the caffeine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I recommend meeting near a park, grabbing a takeaway cuppa and walking round a park talking. There is something magical about walking and talking and getting to know someone. Much more relaxed and you get a better feel for someone when they are moving.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">August is the time for coffee and walk meets. Get your steps in and maybe meet you match. Win win!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">TOP DATING TIPS<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ladies, you can absolutely initiate a coffee meet. BUT For the date, you must let the man woo you. You must wait and let him ask you. If he doesn\u2019t within 3 days of the coffee meet, move on. He isn\u2019t that into you. Don\u2019t get drawn into a long text chats for weeks on end. He is stringing you along to pass the time. Don\u2019t get invested and think, if you just wait long enough something special may happen between you both, it won\u2019t. Men are wonderful, simple beings. If they like you they are asking you out. Simple. I\u2019m a hopeless romantic too but after nearly a decade working in dating let me tell you a few golden nuggets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>You can\u2019t scare him off by having the \u2018chat\u2019 too soon. If he runs away, he was always going to. Better that you find out sooner rather than later.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>If he hasn\u2019t asked you on a second date within a week of the first then move on. He isn\u2019t going to. Cut it off. Find someone who adores you and cannot wait to see you again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you are chatting online and he hasn\u2019t arranged a meet up within 2 weeks, you ask him for a coffee meet. If he can\u2019t find a time within the following week to meet up, move on! He is wasting your time. Men who are serious want to meet up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do not pay half. If you want to know if you are a \u2018pass the time\u2019 date or a genuine option for him, you can tell\u2026.if he pays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>Show him your respect yourself enough to be wooed. Old fashioned romance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You owe him nothing. Your time getting ready and travelling to the date and your\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 presence at the date was valuable enough. Never feel pressured. Women are still paid 85p to every Man\u2019s \u00a31 so we can talk about equal rights when women finally have equal pay!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>Most men will try their luck and sleep with you on the first date. DONT! Even if they say they will respect you, feed you with all the lines, love bomb you, don\u2019t fall for it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>Remember, no woman has ever regretted NOT sleeping with a man! Many have woken up and then been ghosted and spend days and weeks crying over a man. Don\u2019t be that woman. Don\u2019t waste your tears and don\u2019t blame a guy for trying. Doesn\u2019t necessarily mean he is a bad guy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">And finally to summarise, don\u2019t judge them on how much you like them. Judge them on how much effort they put into wanting to see you, thinking about a date, organising a date, catering for your needs. People always show you who they are fairly early on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Believe them. Now go forth and meet your match!
