Marbella Rocks caught up with Roland owner of Marbella & Mijas Buggys to find out more about the company behind the “Ride of your Life.”
Q: Can you sum up the experience of using Marbella/Mijas Buggys in 3 words?

Q: What Buggy’s do you use?
To assure your ultimate all-road experience we use top of the line and powerful 550CC buggies to run these amazing all-road tracks and test your driving skills!
We have invested in an entire new fleet of buggys, ZForce 550 EX best in their ranking and so much fun to drive with.
Q: For those apprehensive readers, can you assure the safety of using your buggys?
Yes, we have a very professional trained team of tour guides, they make sure your safety comes first, they know how to drive and where to be careful if necessary.
Q: Is there an age limit for driving Marbella Buggys?
To drive with us you only need a valid driving license, be 18 or older and to love adventure!
Q: What about the age limit for being a passenger?
Passengers we don’t have restrictions but we advise from the age of 4 as a minimum.
Q: Do you provide Sat Nav or accompany the groups so they don’t get lost?
Our tour guide always drives in the front and bigger groups we have a guide in the back and very large groups we have guides in the middle too.
Q: How many different Marbella/Mijas Buggys routes are there for customers?
(For those repeat customers/fans!) We have 3 different tours, 1 hour, 2 hour and 3 hour.
Q: Do you cater for larger groups?
Yes we can plan trips starting from picking up at their place of stay, lunch-dinner, buggies and other activities and returning back to place of stay. We can arrange from the beginning till the end.
Q: If so do you offer a discount on your normal pricing structure for groups?
Yes, for the larger groups or customised tours we make a personalised quotation as it is per group different. Just ask.
Q: Are Stag and Hen do’s popular? If so do you do anything extra for these parties?
We do most of the times arrange pick up and return service and lunch, on request we can decorate the buggy with balloons.
Q: Can you recommend a route to do that has the most beautiful scenery?
Personally I like the 3 hour tour the most and most of the clients we have come back to do the 3 hour.
Q: You recently expanded Marbella Buggys which has been running for 5 years to launch Mijas Buggys – how has the new centre been going?
It is going really well already, that is because we know what we are doing so it’s a new location with the many years experience we hold. And because the second location we can move between more, so more options.
Q: What are you plans for Marbella/Mijas Buggys this Summer and beyond?
We will put the full 100% optimism in that we all work with and that will be seen in the way we work and the clients will get the benefits out of it.
Q: Are there any plans to launch more centres?
I am thinking of that yes, first this year Mijas. Will keep you posted.
Q: What is the best thing about your job?
Working with happy people in the outback, different tours every day and every time new happy people, so the whole day surrounded by happy people is a very nice thing.
Q: What sets you apart from other adventure companies on the coast?
The energy and effort we all put into it, for us it is not working – it is a hobby we do with pleasure – we are all happy and motivated people!
