Born in Cape Town in 1988, Joseph Klibansky quickly\u00a0made a name for himself on the international art scene with\u00a0his \u2018new media\u2019 digital images.Klibansky makes largescale,\u00a0idealistic utopian portraits that are built up through\u00a0hundreds of layers of photography enriched with acrylic\u00a0paint on archival cotton paper overlaid with a liquid resin.<\/p>\n

Neon Jungle is one of Klibansky\u2019s latest digital paintings. \u00a0It is a continuation of his New Urban Jungle theme that\u00a0has formed a thread throughout his career since 2008 and there are similarities with his 2010 work \u2018High Flyers\u2019,\u00a0which caused a stir in the art world when it went for a record price of 34.500 Euros at\u00a0Sotheby\u2019s.<\/p>\n\r\n
