Marbella Rocks has rounded up and tried and tested the best noninvasive\u00a0cosmetic procedures on the Costa del Sol to give you an idea of\u00a0what to expect from these increasingly popular treatments.<\/p>\n

QMAX Laser<\/strong>
\nQMax Marbella\u2019s laser has a fourpronged\u00a0approach: helping to\u00a0rejuvenate, clear uneven skin tone,\u00a0remove pigmentation marks whilst\u00a0even giving light hair removal.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt helps to rejuvenate the skin by\u00a0attacking collagen, once the collagen\u00a0is attacked the body defends itself\u00a0by producing more,\u201d explains QMax\u00a0Marbella director Sara Sadie. \u201cThe\u00a0laser bypasses the skin so no surface\u00a0damage is done but more collagen\u00a0is produced making your skin look\u00a0bright, fresh and rejuvenated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many potential clients could be\u00a0put off by the mere mention of the\u00a0word laser but there is no damage\u00a0to the skin with this treatment, only\u00a0a slight redness in some patients,\u00a0which wears off quickly. It is also not\u00a0a painful procedure, you feel like\u00a0your face is being pinged with tiny,\u00a0hot elastic bands. Some patients may\u00a0find it uncomfortable but after the\u00a030-minute zapping my skin looked\u00a0brighter, fresher and dare I say younger.
\nSara recommends a course of\u00a0treatments, once every three weeks\u00a0but suggests it is good to give your\u00a0skin a break in the hotter summer\u00a0months when the sun damage to\u00a0recently lasered skin is not generally\u00a0advised.<\/p>\n

Not only does the laser rejuvenate but\u00a0QMax claims to clear pigmentation\u00a0and sun damage because it has highenergy\u00a0single pulse technology which\u00a0is vastly more efficient at removing\u00a0pigmentation marks than multipurpose
\nlasers.<\/p>\n

However because of the hotter\u00a0Marbella climate, the laser Sara uses\u00a0is not as strong as some of the more\u00a0damaging lasers on the market these\u00a0days, which leave patients unable to\u00a0leave home for several days due to\u00a0recovery and downtime.<\/p>\n

The hair removal side of the\u00a0treatment is mild but does work\u00a0for patients that have excess hair\u00a0problems. \u201cNo two patient is the\u00a0same so it totally depends on the\u00a0individual but the laser has proven\u00a0to help remove unwanted hair in the\u00a0majority of users,\u201d Sara adds.<\/p>\n

The QMax laser procedure is ideal\u00a0for women and men (lets not be\u00a0sexist here!) aged 25-60 as apparently\u00a0the skin\u2019s natural collagen rebuilding\u00a0process starts to breakdown at 25.<\/p>\n

\nThis is not\u00a0just a mere\u00a0facial. The\u00a0combination\u00a0of pressurised\u00a0oxygen and a\u00a0special form\u00a0of hyaluronic\u00a0acid creates a visible plumped up\u00a0result you can instantly see and feel.<\/p>\n

The treatment\u00a0feels cool and refreshing, almost like\u00a0a fine mist being sprayed onto your\u00a0face.<\/p>\n

I have to say this treatment feels fresh\u00a0and results are noticeable after just\u00a0one blast of the Intraceuticals special\u00a0infusion gun. I went out that evening\u00a0and got complemented on my fresh\u00a0face. Job done, I think i\u2019m a convert.<\/p>\n

Sofia recommends a course of six,\u00a0preferably once a week for six weeks\u00a0as she calls it a \u201ccure\u201d for the skin. As\u00a0well as the key plumping ingredient\u00a0Hyaluronic acid, the serum contains\u00a0Vitamin A, C, E, antioxidents, aloe\u00a0vera and green tea which is great\u00a0for pigmented skins. This is also a great\u00a0treatment to have before any sort of\u00a0laser treatment as\u00a0it soothes the skin\u00a0and reduces any\u00a0potential redness\u00a0caused by the heat\u00a0from the laser.<\/p>\n

CACI Treatment<\/strong>
