The portions are also generous without you feeling\u00a0overloaded. The wine list is extensive and the\u00a0recommendations were superb, interestingly not\u00a0always pointing to the most expensive wines on the\u00a0menu to match the food choices.<\/p>\n
When the sisters opened the restaurant in 1995 they\u00a0brought close friend and chef Luciano Pappalardo\u00a0over from Naples. They work together to ensure the\u00a0best dishes are served so customers can get the best\u00a0Italian country cooking. The duo also regularly fly\u00a0back to Naples to sample the local cuisine to get tips\u00a0on how to make their menu even better.<\/p>\n
While some local restaurants have come and\u00a0gone in Marbella, Regina\u2019s has standed the test\u00a0of time due to their commitment and passion\u00a0for great food and unwavering customer\u00a0service. You are greeted with a smile and chat on arrival and looked after from start to finish.<\/p>\n
The restaurant regularly accommodates large\u00a0groups for parties but if you want to go for a\u00a0more quiet, romantic meal just check what\u2019s\u00a0happening that night or book an earlier\u00a0sitting. The party atmosphere really kicks in\u00a0at 10.30pm on their busier band nights. If you\u00a0want to attend a live music night double check\u00a0before booking but in peak summer you\u2019re\u00a0guaranteed an entertaining night.<\/p>\n
If you wanted to stop in for a pre-dinner\u00a0cocktail or drink, Regina\u2019s has just launched\u00a0their R Bar for cocktails and for pre or\u00a0post dinner drinks. In addition, Regina\u2019s\u00a0is planning to show some of the World\u00a0Cup matches in their newly refurbished\u00a0conservatory at the back of the restaurant.<\/p>\n
The restaurant is open seven days a week. For\u00a0lunch, Monday to Friday from 12pm until\u00a04pm and for traditional Sunday lunch from\u00a01pm until 5pm, and for dinner Monday to\u00a0Saturday from 7.30pm until midnight.<\/p>\n
