Our favourite go-to greengrocers for the finest fruit and vegetables in Surrey turned one last month (Happy Birthday FMC!) and we were happy to celebrate with them and do this birthday photoshoot and accompanying write-up of all their wonderful produce.<\/p>\n
FEELING FRUITY – THE STRASBERRY & MORE<\/p>\n
Not only do the wonderful team at The Fruit Machine get up at 2am to bring you the finest fruit and veg direct from the London Markets everyday but they bring fruit and veg we didn\u2019t even know existed!<\/p>\n
All hail \u2018The Strasberry\u2019 –\u00a0 a fusion of strawberries and raspberries and they taste devine. A great talking point if you are ever hosting a dinner party too. We were also lucky to be able to try the Beekers Berries white \u2018Limoncello Strawberry\u2019 too. A sharper taste than a normal strawberry but delicious all the same.<\/p>\n
VEGETABLES GALORE<\/p>\n
Rare vegetable wise we have also been fortunate enough to sample a \u2018Caulishoot\u2019 \u2018Globe Artichokes\u2019 and the \u2018Barlotti Bean\u2019 also known as the cranberry bean. And then there\u2019s the finest Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit and the biggest and best Cherries we\u2019ve ever tasted.<\/p>\n
Having been regular customers of The Fruit Machine we can wholeheartedly swear by the quality of their produce. Without a doubt the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me of greengrocers.<\/p>\n
This is backed up by the fact a few local Surrey celebs and members of the Chelsea squad have been seen doing their shops here.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a family run business headed up by local Cobham resident Chris Gaish and his wife Alice and a top team of local Surreyites.<\/p>\n
