London Fashion Week is over and we\u2019re all super inspired by another great season. One show we worked on this time was VIN + OMI. These designers have been eco-pioneers since 2004 and it was important for us to work with a sustainable brand, to learn more and support designers doing great things on a more conscious level. We worked with an outer space concept to create hair that looked impactful but not polished. We focus a lot of our energy at the forefront of trends, working directly with designers to create hair that reflects their collection and what\u2019s happening in the fashion world. It fills the team with inspiration and in salon, we take these trends and filter them down to be suitable for our clients.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One key trend coming from Fashion Week that doesn’t require any adapting is the \u2018I woke up like this\u2019 hair, the perfect ‘French girl\u2019 inspired style. Slightly dishevelled, the key point to note with this hair is the condition; this look only works on hair that is coloured to perfection, full of moisture and freshly cut. A lot more goes on behind the scenes with this style, but the look is expensive yet effortless.<\/p>\n

Then we have the Disco Curls. What\u2019s not to love about Disco Curls? Inspired by the iconic days of Studio 54, they often make star appearances throughout the years. Kylie\u2019s \u2018Spinning Around\u2019 video. Kate Moss on her 30th wearing that blue sequin dress. Disco curls have become an iconic style. Thanks to Emily Ratajkowski and Cardi B who have been rocking curls lately, you should expect to see a lot more of them in the coming months.<\/p>\n

HOT HAIR LIST<\/p>\n

  1. BLOWDRY CLUB – Six blowdries, six treatments, six excuses to slow down all for \u00a3198.<\/li>\n
  2. Hair Clips. Our show with VIN + OMI at LFW emulated a DIY vibe, using hair clips as accessories.<\/li>\n
  3. Easy Trends – Cool girl waves and middle partings as seen at the Chanel show in Paris Fashio Week.<\/li>\n
  4. Heat Damage. If you\u2019re going for the Disco Curls at home, then use Oribe\u2019s Heat Styling Shield.<\/li>\n
  5. Spring Rain. Good for the plants but not your hair. Use KMS Anti-Humidity Spray for a layer of protection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Last month I introduced our relaunched HARE Menu to you, and it\u2019s been lovely to meet so many new people in the salon. I wanted to introduce you to a few key members of the Esher team so you can get to know a little more about them.<\/p>\n

    MARY : SENIOR STYLIST<\/p>\n

    Sam: Who\u2019s your celeb hair icon?<\/p>\n

    Mary: It would have to be Sienna Miller, that fringe and those slept-in waves are just perfect.<\/p>\n

    Sam: Yeah, she wears the boho vibe well. And always has the right shade of blonde. Tell us why you love working at HARE & BONE.<\/p>\n

    Mary: I love my clients. Everyone is so interesting and vastly different. But I also love my work friends who are just like an extension of my family.<\/p>\n

    Sam: Whose hair would you most like to look after?<\/p>\n

    Mary: Adele. She has beautiful hair that looks like it would be lovely to blowdry\u00a0and I\u2019m pretty sure we’d become great friends.<\/p>\n

    HOLLY : SENIOR STYLIST<\/p>\n

    Sam: What\u2019s your favourite spring\/summer trend?<\/p>\n

    Holly: I love blonde, beach waves. They\u2019re always great for the summer months and work at the beach and festivals. They never go out of style with the right cut and colour application. I\u2019m also loving the French bob this season. Shorter than the classic bob and dried with a bedhead texture, they\u2019re the perfect undone look.<\/p>\n

    Sam: Good choice, two of my favourites also. And what would be your go-to product recommendation for clients?<\/p>\n

    Holly: The KMS Anti-Humidity Spray for less frizz and more shine. It acts like an umbrella for your hair and I recommend it to all my clients.<\/p>\n

    Sam: And what do you love about being part of the HARE & BONE team?<\/p>\n

    Holly: I love the inspiration everyone has, we\u2019re always inspiring each other which makes for a positive working environment. I also love getting involved with local events, meeting new people and sharing ideas.<\/p>\n

    SARIA : STYLIST<\/p>\n

    Sam: Who’s hair would you most like to look after?<\/p>\n

    Saria: In all honesty, I would love to look after my mum’s hair. She lives abroad which means I’m not able to do it for her, she has supported me so much in my career and I would love to give her the hair loving she deserves.<\/p>\n

    Sam: That\u2019s a lovely answer, Saria. I\u2019m sure she is really proud of you. What do you love the most about working in Esher?<\/p>\n

    Saria: I love the community feel that Esher gives, we know people in all areas and everyone is super friendly. I also really enjoy the farmers market that comes once a month.<\/p>\n

    Sam: And what does your perfect Sunday in Esher look like?<\/p>\n

    Saria: My perfect Sunday in Esher would be slow, watching a movie in Everyman Cinema with a glass of wine and a pizza.<\/p>\n

    DAN: DIRECTOR<\/p>\n

    Sam: Who\u2019s your celeb hair icon?<\/p>\n

    Dan: Harry Styles. He has great hair but I could never get my hair to look like his.<\/p>\n

    Sam: Good choice, Harry does have good style. And other than Harry Styles, who would you most like to work with?<\/p>\n

    Dan: Jennifer Lopez. Her hair colour and styles are always flawless.<\/p>\n

    Sam: Again, another good choice. What do you love about working at HARE & BONE?<\/p>\n

    Dan: The team. I love my team in Esher and couldn\u2019t imagine working anywhere else. There\u2019s such a great sense of team spirit, we all help and support each other. I also love the design and flow of the salon, it\u2019s open and calm but also really welcoming to clients.<\/p>\n

    We are also welcoming a new addition to the salon this month. Stacy Odwell is a natural extensions specialist. Her brand of unique hand-tied extensions has gained her a celebrity clientele and if you check out her Instagram you can see why.
