Surrey Rocks is collaborating with Celebrity Journalist and TV Producer Angela Sara West on several celebrity events again this year. Not only will we be bringing you TWO Surrey Fashion Week celebrity catwalk shows \u2013 in June and November – but also a star-studded\u00a0fundraising event for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Famous faces will entertain guests as they arrive on the red carpet and partake in cocktails and canap\u00e9s as special guest speakers and high-profile performers take to the stage. More details to be announced shortly.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Hospices of Hope, with whom Angela visited a hospice in Romania last year to meet the Ukrainian refugee children that one of their hospices near Bucharest was temporarily housing, this amazing charity is now fundraising to build a hospice in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The glitzy charity fundraiser will be jointly hosted by the British-Ukrainian Business Women Association (BUBWA), which unites the Ukrainian-British community and assists Ukrainian children and adults in the UK. Their chosen charity is Medway, which helps Ukrainian refugees in that area.<\/p>\n

ALFIE’S\u00a0RECORD-BREAKING UKRAINE FUNDRAISER ADVENTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Among the stars of the show is former soldier Alfie McArthur, a pioneering UK film and TV director with whom Angela has teamed up for a string of first-of-their-kind reality TV series, such as exciting celebrity reality TV game show \u2018Escape From The\u00a0Paranormal\u2019 and hard-hitting series \u2018The Real Street Diaries\u2019 with famous faces including award-winning rapper ICE-T-21 and Channel 4 presenter and upcycling genius Max McMurdo, who is currently starring on Channel 4\u2019s \u2018Amazing Spaces\u2019 alongside George Clarke.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Altruistic Alfie, who has also just landed a role in Hollywood movie David, will take to the stage to talk about how he is kindly undertaking a gruelling 630-mile sponsored walk soon after our event in aid of Hospices of Hope and BUBWA\u2019s fundraising efforts for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Alfie\u00a0aims to smash the record for circumnavigating the stunning\u00a0South\u00a0West\u00a0Coast\u00a0Path – from Minehead in North Devon to Poole in Dorset – which currently stands at 10 1\/2 days, by three whole days!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The former soldier-turned-TV director\u00a0will push himself to the very limits for these charities he’s passionate about on this arduous trek, during which he\u2019ll meet up with a few famous faces for celebrity challenges along the way.<\/p>\n

The fundraising event will also see the launch of our #squats4ukraine campaign and will be accompanied by a sizzling silent auction of phenomenal prizes, including a signed shirt from President Zelenskyy (the t-shirt he wore at the beginning of the war).<\/p>\n
