This is the latest movie to come from two comedic greats; This is the End\u2019s Seth Rogen and The Five Year Engagement\u2019s Nicholas Stoller.<\/p>\n
Bad Neighbours marks the first time these writers and directors have paired up for a feature film and it certainly won\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n
Rogen plays the main lead Mac while Rose Byrne from \u2018Bridesmaids\u2019 plays his wife Kelly. The couple have recently moved to the suburbs to restore some calm in their lives and bring up their newborn baby. Thinking they have left all the hedonistic partying of their youth back in the city, they are shocked to find fraternity president Teddy (played by Zac Efron) move in next door.<\/p>\n
While the unlikely neighbours get off to a good start, the non-stop frat parties take their toll on Mac and Kelly leading them to call the police. What ensues is a hilarious serious of pranks that range from juvenile to the outright ridiculous, as both sets of neighbours try to get the upper hand. The film is definitely Rogen\u2019s although frat boy Pete, played by James Franco\u2019s younger brother Pete, is hilariously funny as Teddy\u2019s sidekick. Plus Efron, with his chiselled abs and squeaky-clean \u2018High School Musical\u2019 image, is not normally to everyone\u2019s taste; he manages to poke fun at this side of his character in \u2018Bad Neighbours\u2019.<\/p>\n
All in all a great summer comedy film that most audiences would enjoy watching.<\/p>\n
