It looks like it’s going to be getting hotter as the week progresses with the Met Office forecasting temperatures will be in the high twenties for most of the UK, while London and the South East could see this soar to 30˚on Friday.
The weekend and start of next week will remain hot too with temperatures expected to be around the 26˚- 27˚ mark in the South East.
The Met claims the rising temperatures are due to high pressure coming from the Portuguese islands of the Azores.
