Powerhouse celeb couple, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, have called off their engagement and announced they are parting ways after two years together.
The couple, with possibly the most ridiculous moniker names, released a statement today saying:
“We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.”
Jennifer, 51, and former Yankees star Alex, 45, have been fending off infidelity rumours saying ‘they are working through things’ for months, after numerous press reports came through indicting they were on the verge of a break-up.
More recently on a holiday to the Dominican Republic they were posing for pictures in the sea looking every inch the happy family with their kids.
Today’s statement went onto say:
“We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words of support.”
