Bod Geldof and Paula Yates’ daughter Pixie Geldof wed her rock star fiancé George Barnett in a lavish ceremony in Palma, Mallorca.

The bride kept the 200-strong congregation waiting almost 2 hours in the Spanish heat before turning up in a grey coach (practicality ruled) with the bridal party consisting of TV presenter Alexa Chung and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Daisy Lowe. Among the guests were Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Nick Grimshaw. Who we can only imagine were melting in their suits in the 36 degree heat.

The singer and model’s older sister Fifi, 31, was in attendance alongside Thomas Cohen, widow to Pixie’s sister Peaches Geldof who died of a heroine overdose aged 25.
Following the ceremony, the guests filtered out to the 75 tables set up in the grounds of the picturesque stately home, where a night of live music followed.
