A comedy, crime drama based on actual real life events. Small-time crooks Tommy (played by Michael Pitt) and his girlfriend Rosie (played by Nina Arianda) get put in jail for robbing a florist on Valentine’s Day. After their release Rosie takes a job at a debt collection agency and persuades Tommy to join her. The lovestruck couple can’t believe their luck when they stumble across a scam to take down the Mob and scoop their fortune. What ensues is a mad-capped plot to rob the biggest boss of the Mob by two unlikely, and previously very unsuccessful, crooks.
Directed by Sundance Film winner Raymond De Felitta whose hits have included ‘Café Society’ and ‘Two Family House’. Also starring Andy Garcia as Big Al, one of the mob bosses. A role which he reprises well, considering his previous gangster roles in ‘The Godfather’ and the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ trilogy.
