Former Harrods and Topshop designer and stylist Cherry Cumberland has branched out on her own to launch chic kaftan and swimwear label, Pink Cherry Couture. The label is making headlines in the UK, Dubai and Marbella where celebrities such as Fearne McCann have been snapping up these gorgeous designs.
Cherry, a BA fashion graduate, decided to launch the brand after struggling for years to find a decent swimwear label.
“When holidaying, I could find gorgeous swimwear – however no cover ups, unless I wanted a cheap looking kaftan that everyone would have or was willing to pay silly amounts on a basic draped kaftan made from fabric which is not at all worth it due to the poor quality. I struggled. And I know I am not alone. Pool parties and beach clubs are becoming ever increasingly popular. Most women want to look different and stand out looking fabulous and that’s what Pink Cherry Couture is all about. Making the customer feel like the most beautiful woman in the world in her unique, luxury garment.”
