Asian sticky salmon combines the richness of the salmon meat with the sweetness of a honey and ginger glaze. As the honey makes the salmon sweeter than normal, you have to find the right wine to pair with the meat. A Pratello Rielsing is a good choice for Asian inspired salmon dishes, thanks to its dryness and it also infused with apple and lemon flavours setting off the sweetness of the honey. We also love the Adobe Gewurztraminer from Chile or if these two wines are hard to find we can recommend any good, dry Riesling which will do the trick nicely.
