Priscilla Presley is a renowned actress, producer, author, business entrepreneur and of course, the former wife of Elvis Presley. As well as being an age defying beauty at the age of 72, she is the co-founder of Elvis Presley Enterprises, the company that turned the Graceland mansion in Memphis into one of the top tourist attractions in the United States.

In 1979, she became Co-Executor of the Presley Estate turning it from a burgeoning entity into a phenomenally successful global organisation consisting of the famous Graceland Mansion, merchandising, worldwide licensing, live events, touring exhibitions plus music, television and film projects.

Priscilla has always and will continue to honour her late husband’s memory.

This Summer 2018 a series of concerts like no other are being orchestrated that will see Elvis Presley reappear on the big screen backed up by a Symphony Orchestra, to iconically mark 50 years after Elvis ’68 Comeback special.

Through concert organisers, Crazy Music Productions, the 60 piece Czech symphony orchestra, Elvis on the big screen and an appearance by Priscilla will be showcased at concerts in Spain on 11 and 12 June at the WiZink Center of Madrid and the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona respectively.

The critically-acclaimed “If I Can Dream” release, as well as its successor album, feature archive recordings of the King’s voice, and new orchestral arrangements of some of his biggest hits, such as “Love Me Tender” and going through his most famous ballads including “Can’t Stop Falling in Love.” Elvis’ hits are endless and this concert will allow fans to hear his music in a new way.

“If I Can Dream and The Wonder of You”: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is produced by Nick Patrick and Don Reedman and by Priscilla Presley. Priscilla, who is set to return to the stage in person has said:

“What an honour for me to be able to produce and present a live concert which involves the public in an unparalleled experience. The project was born of what today has become a very prestigious album, backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.”

Priscilla has been an instrumental driving force in keeping the memory of her husband/the King alive. She opened her former home Graceland to the public in 1982. Nowadays Graceland welcomes 600,000 visitors each year and was recently named the “Best Music Attraction” worldwide by the USA Today 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards.

Priscilla Presley continues to be a steward of the Elvis Presley legacy with her close involvement in music, film and television productions, the new Guest House at Graceland resort hotel now under construction in Memphis, as well as officially licensed Elvis products sold around the world.

In her acting career, Presley played the role of Jenna Wade on the long-running, hit television series ‘Dallas’ and starred with Leslie Nielsen in the three highly-successful ‘Naked Gun’ films.

What many people do not know is that Priscilla was only 14 years old when she first met Elvis back in 1959 at a party in Germany while Elvis was serving in the army. He was said to be captivated by her and they formed a close “friendship”. When Elvis returned to the US they stayed in touch over the phone and finally in the Summer of 1962 she was allowed to visit but on strict terms by her parents that she was to remain in LA and be supervised by Elvis parents. The King had other ideas though and they jetted off to Las Vegas where Priscilla first admitted to trying amphetamines and sleeping pills with her beau. To throw her parents off the scent Elvis had Priscilla write postcards that were mailed everyday to her parents house in Germany before they left.

In 1963 Priscilla was allowed to move to the US and shortly before Christmas in 1966 Elvis proposed. They married in Las Vegas on May 1, 1967 in Las Vegas and exactly 9 months later they welcomed their first child Lisa Marie Presley. However, Elvis career took off again and the couple’s relationship came under strain when Elvis spent considerable time on set and on tour. They divorced in 1973 although remained firm friends, even leaving the courthouse on the day of their divorce hand in hand. Thereafter Elvis’ career took a downward spiral into drink and drugs. The King was pronounced dead on August 16, 1977 after suffering a heart attack at his Graceland home. Priscilla and Lisa Marie, were his only living heirs.
