la-quinta-restaurantSet on the world famous Sotogrande Polo Fields, you’d be hard pushed to find a more beautiful and tranquil setting than Argentinian Steak House, La Quinta. The restaurant prides itself on serving the finest cuts imported directly from Argentina, cooked by top head chefs Sebastian Gallerdo and Lucas Martin.

The chateaubriand, fillet with pepper or chimichurri sauce and creamed spinach are firm favourites. Sometimes its rare to find a steak restaurant (excuse the pun!) that excels in its other dishes but La Quinta does just that. The plum chicken is spicy and tangy and one of the best dishes on the menu. Non meat-eaters will also be impressed with the vast selection of vegetarian, pasta and salad dishes.

Whilst the outdoor seating area is undoubtedly the best place to watch Polo and people watch on sunny afternoons and evenings, the restaurant itself has a warm homely feel with polo and sports paraphernalia adorning its brick wall interior.

If you like live entertainment, there is a fantastic Tango and dance show at La Quinta every Tuesday night, which is not to be missed. The entertainment kicks off at 9.30pm and goes on till late, be sure to book early to get a great spot near the stage.

Also while La Quinta is arguably one of the busiest restaurants in Sotogrande, the service is always second to none. The charming and attentive owner Sebastian is always there to meet and great his guests and regulars. And if anyone likes a side of celeb spotting with their meal – charismatic Formula 1 commentator Eddie Jordan is a regular here.
