Are you ready to catch the Glitterbug? As this is one trend that is definitely not going away…
If you thought the Spring/Summer 2018 glitter trend was flash in the pan, think again. MUA Tom Pecheux for Chanel sent models down the Fall runways wearing iridescent gold on their cheekbones. If you are feeling like going ‘way out’ take a leaf out of Vogue beauty editor Val Garland who created shimmering foreheads for Preen or go one step further with a full face of glitter like make-up artists at Giambattista Valli.
At Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2018 show, purple glitter eyeshadow was applied to the centre of the eyelids and on the lower lash line. Meanwhile, models at the Kate Spade show were given Swarovski crystal-embellished lids for that extra Wow factor.
Thanks to a whole host of cosmetic brands including Beauty Blvd, Barry M and Ciaté, embracing the playful look is made easy no matter what your skill set.
