Cover girl and Emmy Award-winning star Zendaya is widely considered the hottest property in Hollywood right now. This December she stars in the third and final film in the popular franchise ‘Dune’ alongside Timothee Chalamet.
The film, based loosely on Frank Herbert’s ‘Dune Messiah’ novel jumps forward 17 years when Atreides (played by Chalamet) is drawn into a sweeping conspiracy, with Chani (Zendaya) at the heart of its unfolding mystery, the story centres on the true cost of power and the fate of those the young Emperor loves the most. RISING STAR
Zendaya landed the highly coveted lead role of Rue in the Amazon Prime ‘Euphoria’ in 2019 following her impressive performances in the theatrical cinematic hit, ‘The Greatest Showman’ starring alongside Hugh Jackman and Zak Effron.
Zendaya scooped a Primetime Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress’ in 2020 for her role as Rue. She was only 24 at the time, making her the youngest ever recipient of this coveted award.
Plus, she has starred in all four films to date, from 2017-2026, of the ever popular ‘Spider-Man’ Marvel franchise.
The latest film ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ (which came out on July 31st, 2026) received rave reviews from critics, many with praise for Zendaya’s performance as well as a more mature, character-driven story compared to the other ‘Spider-Man’ films.
So far the film has grossed $2.5 billion worldwide and has set multiple box office records.
LOVE LIFE
‘Spider-Man’ not only secured Zendaya as a serious, global movie star, it was here she met her boyfriend (now hubby!), the talented Brit actor Tom Holland, who plays ‘Spider-Man.’
Rumours of romance were quick to circle around Hollywood following the pair’s blatant on-screen chemistry and all the off-screen time the duo spent together.
Although for almost 5 years, Zendaya and Holland denied anything was going on. They are both “extremely private characters” and did not want to “doom the relationship” were cited as reasons for keeping their relationship hidden from the public by the duo.
The news of their official ‘coupling’ didn’t come until February 2022 when they were pictured holding hands at the premiere of Holland’s film ‘Unchartered’.
WEDDING BELLS
Earlier this year, rumours that Tom Holland and Zendaya had secretly got married spread across social media like wildfire, with AI-generated wedding photos racking up millions of likes and leaving some fans unsure whether they were real or not!
However, Holland confirmed the couple tied the knot in an exclusive magazine interview this June. Speaking to Esquire magazine, he revealed that his grandmother saw the fake wedding photos and thought she had missed the big day!
When asked whether he had to reassure any other family members, Holland replied: “No, because they were all there.” (on the real day!)
Wrapping up the Esquire interview, Holland gushed about his beautiful new wife: “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
Baby rumours have been quick to surface too but as was with the fake, AI generated wedding snaps, none have been confirmed by the couple.
