We were ecstatic to be asked to come and test drive the Morgan Super 3 at Bell & Colvill in East Horsley last month. We had heard so much about this luxury car model that had undergone an impressive remake to be relaunched to the market in 2022, and it exceeded all our expectations. There are only between 800-1000 Morgan Super 3 cars made a year. They’re bonkers, fun and extremely unique! Looking like a Spitfire on wheels this car exudes coolness too – classic mixed with conptemporary touches – makes this car totally unique to anything else out there.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Richard Wright, sales manager at Bell & Colvill, took the helm and started our initial test drive. The first thing we have to say is how rapid it is and can do an impressive 0-60mph in 7 seconds. This seems even faster as being open-topped you are experiencing the extra gust of wind and all the elements. This is what really makes the Super 3 such a fun drive, along with the third back wheel which gives a bumpier, yet more thrilling ride, than a normal 4 wheeled sports car.
The broad track of the Morgan is defined by two giant 20-inch bespoke Avon tyres that keep the traditional look yet make the Morgan so unique to look at and drive. The superformed aluminium structure of the car makes it sleek yet lightweight and mode. The steering column moves too – a nice extra touch so can be tailored to whoever is driving the car. It also reaches a top speed of 128mph. This is a totally exhilarating experience and one that our testers have never matched in all their dozens of car reviews.

There is a sports exhaust attached to the Morgan Super 3 too which can be made bespoke to you. Alongside transfers, stickers and whatever colour you desire! This car is all about fun. And it’s great for storage too with side carry on cases that can easily be attached.

HISTORY
The Morgan 3 Wheeler was first brought to market in 1909 – it was considered the epitome of cool and luxury. Although following some (unnecessary bad 3-wheeler press) Morgan stopped production in 1950 and started again following demand for classic cars in 2012, with the new Super 3 starting again in 2022 to rave reviews.
