CONGRATS ON YOUR FIRST EVER PANTOMIME ROLE, ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO PERFORMING AS QUEEN RAT IN DICK WHITTINGTON AT ESHER THEATRE THIS CHRISTMAS?
It’s going to be hilarious, I can see me really getting into the role, I have never played a Baddie before!
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS ACTING ROLES?
I have been in numerous West End shows to date! Cats, Little Shop Of Horrors, Hair, Smokey Joes Cafe, Mutiny, Chicago. And a few others! Plus, I have starred in films on TV and Cinema, I am actually a classically trained actress (LAMDA).

It’s such great fun! We get on so well.
HOW ARE ALL CAST MEMBERS GETTING ON – ARE PETER STRAKER AND SALLY MORGAN AS GOOD FUN AS THEY COME ACROSS?
I was on Sally’s TV show years ago, she is very different in this environment, Straker is a complete hoot too! He played the Wizard in The Wiz years ago, its where we first worked together, doing this was his idea! I have never been in a theatre production with Sally before, so I am very excited, she makes me laugh so much, I hope I don’t collapse in fits of giggles onstage!
ARE YOU SINGING IN THE SHOW?
Yes! I sing twice in the show! I won’t tell you what though! You’ll have to come and see for yourselves!!
WHAT WAS IT LIKE RISING TO FAME IN THE 80’S WITH POP HITS INCLUDING ‘SO MACHO’ AND ‘TOYBOY’?
The late 80’s are some of the best times of my life!
Being famous was fun, it meant free club entry and people saying hello and smiling at me on the streets!
DO YOU THINK YOU MAY EVER REVIVE YOUR SINGING CAREER AS A LOT OF 80’S BANDS/SINGERS ARE DOING COMEBACK TOURS?
I had a lovely time! I would like to revive my singing career, I mean look at Kylie still smashing it! Why not?! She seems very happy.
DID YOUR EX BOYFRIEND BRAD PITT EVER GIVE YOU ANY ACTING POINTERS?
Brad never gave me acting advice but he did advise me to buy food and to learn to cook! Dating Brad was wonderful, he was so fantastically good looking, playful and fun, but everyone wanted to steal him from me!

Simon is a sweet and generous man, he has become a real family man lately and mellowed a lot. He is good fun and passionate about his work. I loved working with him, we always had fun.
ARE YOU STILL GOOD BUDDIES AND WILL HE BE COMING TO SEE YOU IN THE SHOW?
We are still great buddies. He may miss the show as he goes to Barbados for Christmas

I have a new venture called Sins Angels and it’s all about being wealthy in health and in love, being beautiful inside and looking our best! I love being an older woman. I am living my best life and I want to encourage others to do the same. I am encouraging women not get caught in the menopause valley, there is MORE after that and it gets better and better.
