Scientists at Princeton University in the US have already created a 3D bionic ear that can “hear” radio frequencies beyond the range of normal human capability. If the trial proves successful this can be seen (or heard) as a major breakthrough in helping patients all around the world regain sight and sound.
Whilst in trial stages at Princeton, if this proves successful, will pave the way for any sort of body part to be recreated.
