ARIANA & PETE ENGAGED
Another month, another whirlwind romance… this time pint size pop star Ariana Grande has confirmed her engagement to ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Pete Davidson.
The couple, who only started dating in May this year, confirmed the news with a cute Instagram pic of them holding hands with Ariana’s teardrop shaped ‘Rock – the size of Gibraltar’ on her engagement finger.
As well as the couple only really knowing each other a matter of 5 weeks, the news comes as a further shock to fans as both have both recently come out of other serious relationships. Ariana was dating rapper Mac Miller, while Pete was in a long term relationship with Cazzie David, whose dad is comedian Larry David. Let’s hope it’s not a rebound thing.
Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show’, Jimmy Fallon jokingly told Pete that he “didn’t have to get engaged to Ariana Grande to come on our show”.
When asked how he was handling it all, the comedian said that men were walking past him and tipping their hat as a sign of respect.
“Some dude came up to me and was like: ‘Yo man, you gave me hope’. I really didn’t know I was that ugly,” Davidson joked.
